Google Club 12: Making our Personal Learning Plans

We kicked off our Personal/Professional Learning Plan (PLP) work by reviewing Google Skills Inventories, discussing why PLP’s are useful for us as professionals and also to use with students; what Google tools can be used for making PLP’s; and we began to identify our PLP goals.

The Google Slides from the meeting are here; our Padlet of Goals is here;  and the PLP template in two formats: Google Slides  or Google Docs.

Homework for next Google Club, February 16:

Develop your PLP!

To do this you might want to think over challenges you’re experiencing using Google in your teaching practice or life.  You can also review the skills inventories to see if that helps you identify goals.

We’re asking for you to identify 1 short term goal that can be achieved by June 30, 2022.

Make a copy of either the Google Slides or Google Doc PLP Template and add your name, then start to fill it out. The PLP template will ask you to identify measurements of success, what support and tools you will need, and a timeline for how you will achieve your goal.

We will be using your PLP’s to identify future Google Club themes and also to provide you with support and tools.
